Linking Google Ads to Google Analytics 4: How To Guide

When it comes to conversion tracking in Google Ads campaigns or remarketing in display network - Google Ads linking with GA4 is essential. Integration is really easy and takes around a few minutes. In this guide we’ll show you how to link your Google Ads account with Google Analytics 4 in just 7 steps.

Step 1

Step 1 If you have already created a Google Analytics 4 account, you can connect your Google Ads profile in just a few clicks. First follow the admin panel by clicking the "Admin" button.

Step 2

After you get into the admin panel, scroll down in the property column to the product links and click on “Google Ads Links”.

Step 3

After that you’ll see the block with all linked accounts, however if you do this for the first time it will be empty. To link your Google Ads account click on the “Link” button.

Step 4

When you get into the link setup window, press the “Choose Google Ads accounts” button.

Step 5

You’ll see the list of available Google Ads accounts here, choose one that you want to connect to and press the “Confirm” button.

Next you will get back to the link setup window, click on the “next” button to configure settings.

Step 6

Set everything up like on the screenshot: enable ads auto-tagging and personalized advertising to push audience lists to your Google Ads account.

Step 7

On the next step make sure that your setup is made correctly and press the submit button.

Congratulations! The linking is successfully done. You can find your linked account on Google Ads links page.
